The Basics
Registering and logging in
Before you can participate as a seller, buyer, or just a visitor on Freshnip, you need to register with us. If you’re a Facebooker, use your Facebook account to log in to Freshnip!
Providing your address and contact detail to us is important, because it facilitates ease of buying and selling on our site. We won’t sell this data to any third parties.
Log in with your Freshnip username or your Facebook account.

The site's sections
The site is designed to help you get to want you want in an easy way :-)
What’s fresh and hip – easily reachable on the top of each Freshnip page. Fresh – the newest items uploaded by our sellers, Hip – the most liked items uploaded by our sellers.
Categories – each item on Freshnip is tagged under a category, so if you’re looking for T-shirts, just click on T-shirts! If you want a more general pick, click on Tops, that works too.
Dashboard – everything related to you on Freshnip is here! Your messages, likes, product wishlist, profile are all reachable from here. If you sell, your leads and shop profile is also reachable from here. More info on the dashboard is here.

Post an item for sale
Posting an item is very important on Freshnip, but it’s also easy! Follow 3 easy steps:
But first, posting an item is reachable via the top right of the Freshnip page.
First step is to name your item. Do you have similar items? You can put them under a collection.
Second step is to describe your item. When you tell your item’s story, don’t put price or shipping details there. There are special fields for these, making them searchable.
Finally, upload photos of your item. Right now, we have a limit of 5 photos per item, but we might change this in the future.

Creating a collection is easy! If you have a collection, select it from the drop down, or click “create a new one”

If you like other users’ items and clicked either of the buttons below. They will show up in your profile.
Sharing and reviewing items
This is easily done via this button:
To review items, just type your review and post it! Note, you can’t review your own item.
Contacting sellers
When you buy items, Freshnip will automatically contact the seller for you.
Your Freshnip messaging center
You can contact a user by going over to his/her profile page and clicking 
Becoming a fan
If you like a seller so much that you want to get updates from his or her, click 
in the user’s profile page and you’ll get updates on your feed!

(for sellers) Getting recognized on Freshnip
Seller of the month
We’ll pick sellers of the month after we officially go live. How do we select seller of the month? We’re still thinking about this, but it will most likely be based on popularity, and quality of products sold.
Getting fans
This is why customer service will be important, if you sell good products and treat your customers well, they might choose to become your fan! If you’re someone’s fan, your Freshnip activity (example, you have new items to sell) will show up in their Freshnip activity feed. Free marketing :-)
Getting your products recognized
If your products are good, buyers can choose to “like your product.” If you garner enough likes, you’ll make it to the top of our “hip” listing!
