Freshnip started out as a simple conversation in a coffee shop. Is there a way for us to make "social buying" (buying through a social network) easier but still retain the fun factor? We observed that people sell products via their blogs or social networks, but their system was not designed for that so Freshnip was born.

Freshnip was derived from "fresh and hip" because we wanted to feature products that are fresh or new, and those that are hip or cool.

In short, it's like entering a fashion portal: it makes searching for fashion finds easier, and it opens you to whole new possibilities in the online world of fashion!
